Climbs 2 – Rocktype Gneiss – Altitude 28m a.s.l – Faces S
This is the area east of Mont Herault either side of the large landslips below the fenced section of cliffpath. There are no routes recorded here, but there are a couple of stacks of the grey Perelle gneiss, and a pair of leaning walls of orange Icart Gneiss and black diorite intrusions. Scramble eastwards from Mont herault from about 1-1.5hours either side of low water or westwards from the Carriere Torode at slightly higher states of tide. It is probably possible to do a monster abseil down the landslide (2 ropes or intermediate belay needed). No bird restrictions.
