Access notes
Park as for the Grochan at the lay by. Cross the stream and approach as for the Easter egg boulder. A further 5 minutes walk directly up the fell gains the boulder, recognisable by its steep right hand facet and obvious traverse line. Alternatively walk up the road from the lay by to the bridge on the right, and take the good track that goes up and right across the fellside until the right hand side of the boulder field can be reached. Better.
