Crag features
Single pitch crag with 3 sectors, giving around 50 routes. Grades range from F4+ F7c. Most routes are 15-30m long, but there are a handful of 40m pitches. Some routes are sparsely bolted, and others need re-equipping.
Access Banned
Climbing at this crag is prohibited by MUNICIPAL ORDER N° 08-2022 dated OCTOBER 31, 2022 following the deconvention by the FFME, discussions are underway to reopen the crag but until further notice it remains closed. More info here: https://escalade-pays-de-gex.com/escalade-interdite-a-leaz/
From the D1206, take signs for Léaz village. Drive through the village, take the Chemin des Moulins and park at the end. Either follow a path above the river to the R-hand end of the main sector, or go over the hill, past the Madonna, to the L-hand end of the main sector
