Good rock with good landings. A little damp underfoot after heavy rain but fine with a mat.
Approach notes
Approach as for the chance encounter boulder. This boulder lies on the fell side over the wall behind the chance encounter boulder. Follow the wall leftwards to the stile. Its the boulder with a square cut overhang on its left and side just ahead.
