This summit lies 800m SE of Mont Blanc's main summit and is identified as a separate peak in the UIAA 4000m peaks list. It's the highest point of the Mont Blanc massif as viewed from Courmayeur.

Access notes
Can be reached relatively easily from the summit of Mont Blanc and is also passed by several of the harder routes up Mont Blanc from the Italian side.
