Visited in late July, great little crag! No growth on the wall itself, lots of loose rocks over near Hodder Wall and Ace of Spades.

visted sunday 24th march really good little crag. easy access and not as green as commented before. Even when it has snowned stay dries quickly. Worth a visit

The photo of 'Last Crack' submitted by anteater, Sept2011, actually shows the climber veering off left into Evening Crack/Drought Line.

29 May - repeat visit, now almost entirely dry, and not too bad for vegetation either. Had the place to myself all evening- tastic!

Visited evening of 24 May 2012; dry for 80% of the crag, just the western corner very wet as the sun doesn't hit it at all yet. Base of the crag nice and level grass area, top of the crag easy access and well staked. All climbs are labelled/numbered as per the Lancashire climbing guide too. You can squeeze a couple of cars onto the verge on the nearest road, but there's a decent carpark 5 minutes walks away. Worth a visit in my humble.

not bad on a cold sunny day, nice spot to tick the lot in an afternoon

Went for evening soloing as got bored of Cyl, its wet, green, gritty and in some places loose. Not recommended

"I've been visiting this wall for nearly a year and I've seen it expand, it now has a new wall at the rear of the church, and a new bouldering room upstairs. Great café and a Cotswold..."
