A huge range of cliffs directly in front of you as you approach from the track (East) as you travel South West along them you will come across a large rock cleft (many climbs that need cleaned)Climbing.ie wiki entry below
Approach notes
From Ballinamore take the road for St. Marys Church, Aughnasheelin this will lead you to a narrow bridge at Poll an Easa Waterfall and a sharp right hand bend.Follow this road to Aghacashel and you will see the brown signs for Iron Mountain (Slieve Anierin walk) Travel to the top of this road (signs for Mullaghgarve Mass Rock) there are several places to park on the roadside.
Follow farm track NNE into forestry and through 2 gates. 30 min walk will take you out onto more open landscape and black signposts arrowed in the general direction of the crag. Follow these until you come across the cleft/pillar.
