Climbs 16 – Rocktype Grit (quarried) – Altitude ? – Faces SW

Crag features
Two quarried bays up to 12m in height and one natural gritstone block ,all located on the edge of the moor to the rear of Dick Hudsons PH.

There is pleasant little bouldering circuit and two recorded routes:

Comply or Die Font 7a+ ( highball) Obvious high finger crack in the 1st bay

The Elevator E6 6c Climbs the big wall in the 2nd bay( pre rig belay to exit, stake and boulder 20m back from the edge.)

There are several easier routes but they suffer from poor quality rock in the last two metres and there are no belays.

There is actually quite a good little summer bouldering circuit here with varied quality problems on good rock both quarried and natural grit (avoiding top-outs in some cases so a few mats are helpful). Probably green and wet in winter.
