The Marjan hill is on the western part of Split. The wooded peninsula is a protected nature reserve and a favourite spot for many types of recreation. At the far western part of the peninsula, the rock wall of Šantine Stine is now a popular place for climbing.
This is the oldest crag in Croatia, which became famous in 1986 for hosting one of the oldes climbing competitions in the world on the natural rock.

What a fantastic spot. A definite visit if you're on a trip along this bit of the coast. Sparrowmonkey - 14/Sep/13 |

Love it here. The Marjan park has got a great chilled 'vibe' after the bustle of Split, only a few Km's away. Sparrowmonkey - 06/Sep/13 |
