La Piscine (Gorges du Loup)

Crag features
La Piscine offers long routes on overhanginging walls with tufas, which are still in need of traffic to clean up properly, but the routes are very good.

Grotte de l'Iroqoui is shorter with technical climbing (ie. tough grades) on walls and there are some tufas.

Le Phasme: vertical and slightly overhanging walls with tufas. (The routes are new, so are dirty at the moment and need more traffic.)

Karaoke: slopers on the left, otherwise tufas.

Climbs at this crag

For Grotte de l'Iroqoui: Continue past the parking for Deverse (just after the 1st tunnel). The crag is up left of the 2nd tunnel.

Park down the road in a layby (2 mins).

Le Phasme: park just down the road from where you park for La Piscine (a layby on the left or rough ground 100m up the road on the right). Follow the wall back down the road until it stops then walk steeply down below the road (2 mins). (The crag is directly opposite Mesa Verde; this approach can be used to get there as well.)

Karaoke: on the road from la Colle sur Loup to Pont du Loup, approx 1km after turning right on the gorge road. Park on the left just before 2 white plastic bollards on the right where there is a dry ravine. The path goes up the hillside from the bollards. 20 mins walk. Sunny in winter.
