Crag features
Ramales is made of lots aof diferent sectors (15), from slabs to massive overhangs in caves, its main cliff is the Pared del Eco with 300 metres and an overhang of around 150 wich takes u nearly 15 metres out of the base! here u will find the hardest routes with only 4 routes unther 6 grade, 20 routes of betwin 7a and 7c and 11 of 8 grade. u can climb in this wall all year round, it never gets wet thanks to the overhang and makes it a popular place in winter.
Approach notes
Head from Bilbao or Santander to Laredo and take the exit at colindres and head towards Ampuero keep going till u arrive to Ramales de la Victoria, after u arrive to town follow the road 3 kilomiters and u will start to see the crags at your left, u will find a parking at the tpo of the road where it sais "Cueva Covalanas" you will find the Pared del Eco 5 minutes from here.
