Crag features

This is by far the most impressive wall in all of Cuba and the routes are all jewels, deserving of the highest star ratings. Craig Luebben discovered this cliff while exploring around Vinales.

The cathedral contains magnificent rock, exposed pitches, technical rappels, a variety of grades and guaranteed satisfaction. Its so steep that the top pitches of the multi-pitch climbs stay dry in the rain. Bring two 60m ropes, a few slings or carabiners to backup rappel anchors and please follow the specific route descent instructions to avoid ending up stranded in the space without a way to get back to the wall.

Approach notes

After you park, look for the start of the trail behind a fence and below the main wall. The trail wanders uphill through the forest and reaches the crag on the right-hand side in 5 minutes.
