Shaded until about 2 in the summer, this is a good morning venue with plenty of 5s and a few easier and harder routes.According to the latest guidebook, only the Dalles and Tonton Titine sectors are accessible, beyond is forbidden.
Approach notes
2km past Ougiers, ignore the big lay-by on a bend and go a little further. Park at a small area by a footbridge over the river. There's space for 6/7 cars of the road, in the shade, and a few more on the edge of the road. The access path is obvious on the other side of the road. Go up onto a small ridge and walk until you find a small clearing by the crag.
Restricted Access
Only sectors Dalles and Tonton Titine are open following a rockfall in 2002. Climbs beyond Les Tontons Grimpeurs are not listed in the new edition of the guidebook. It states that further climbs have been de-equipped but I could see bolts on the wall still so possibly only the lowest have been removed.There is a fence in place at the end of the allowed climbing but it has been broken aside.
