Crag features

Shaded until about 2 in the summer, this is a good morning venue with plenty of 5s and a few easier and harder routes.

According to the latest guidebook, only the Dalles and Tonton Titine sectors are accessible, beyond is forbidden.

Approach notes

2km past Ougiers, ignore the big lay-by on a bend and go a little further. Park at a small area by a footbridge over the river. There's space for 6/7 cars of the road, in the shade, and a few more on the edge of the road. The access path is obvious on the other side of the road. Go up onto a small ridge and walk until you find a small clearing by the crag.

Restricted Access

Only sectors Dalles and Tonton Titine are open following a rockfall in 2002. Climbs beyond Les Tontons Grimpeurs are not listed in the new edition of the guidebook. It states that further climbs have been de-equipped but I could see bolts on the wall still so possibly only the lowest have been removed.

There is a fence in place at the end of the allowed climbing but it has been broken aside.

states that the closure was made by municipal decree.
