Crag features
A steep and undercut boulder close to the road. Receives the late morning sun onwards. Stays dry after a light shower. The landings need padding out at present but the small rocks around can easily be shifted to improve this.
Approach notes
park up as for the sheep pen boulders but at the second layby not the third. It is the lone steep boulder just up and left, above the quarried slot running into the fellside. Hop over the fence just beyond the layby and strike diagonally back left to reach it. ( 5 mins )
