A mostly natural amphitheatre of rock on the west bank of Spicey Gill that yields a handful of quarried grit highballs. The quarried crater is east-facing and subsequently sheltered.
There are now some winter climbs/ice bouldering at this venue. Please note the strict ethics - only climb on ice, snow or frozen turf. No rock was damaged in the production of these climbs.
Approach from Ilkley town centre up Wells Road, branch left onto Keighley Road and park where the tarmac runs out. The quarry is 5 mins to the south.
