Crag features
The Crag is a small limestone outcrop and is an ideal way of spending an evening, when you cannot get access to the high mountains. Some holds are polished.

Climbs at this crag

Take the B19 towards Oberstdorf. On entering the outskirts of Oberstdorf and immediately after McDonalds you come to a round-about; take the first exit signposted SöllereckBahn, Riezlern and Kleinwalsertal. Follow the road across the Austrian border and through the town of Riezlern; just before exiting the village and immediately after a bridge turn right towards Ifen / Ifenbahn. Follow the road till just before it ends – you will see the Ifen Ski lift and parking area just ahead. The climbing area is on the right (500m) before the Ski Lift, next to some wooden benches and the Outward Bound school training area which are situated to the right of the crag. Park beyond the crag on the left hand side – do not park immediately next to the crag as it causes problems on the narrow road.

Access

Walk back down the access road. Walk through Outward Bound school training area and up to the main climbing area (2 mins).
