Crag features
There is a completely unadvertised feature at Stanwick lakes near Rushden Northants. It isn't even in the brochure for the place but they did at some point buy a 3m high 4 sided boulder which now sits part way round what would be the adventure trail.
It is made of concrete/bendcrete and in areas is a little polished where kids have stepped up the easy side, however two sides are pretty much overhanging maybe 10 degrees and so some interesting routes can be created.
It does have some underclings and sidepulls and a slightly overhanging gaston as well as a hole which on hot days lets out bees!
It isn't much but in the midlands we'll take anything. It's also nice to have something to top out even if you can dyno the top from the floor.

Access notes
Just off the A45 at Stanwick. The carpark i think is normally about £3 but you can park in laybys on the A45 and walk if you're tight. A year pass to this parks carpark is like £25 so if you go a lot it ends up effectively free. Once parked follow the main path right and just after your cross a river branch off left. The boulder and its tiny, real boulder friend, sit on the right.
