Pico Anayet Huesca, SPAIN
Climbs 20 – Rocktype Andesite – Altitude 2429m a.s.l – Faces all
Crag features
Anayet is a fantastic looking peak and infact an old volcano. There are a number of good lines up it which can be done in summer and winter. None of these are particularly long but the situation is superb and the summit offers fantastic 360 degree views. The normal route is not as hard as it looks and is protected by a series of chains across the exposed slabs.

Access notes
Anayet can be accessed from either the Canfranc side or from the Formigal side with roughly a two hour walk in from either direction. It is sometimes possible to drive up the ski lift jeep track from the Formigal side but you need to obtain permission as the gates are usually locked.
