Crag features

Paradise Valley is a scenic stretch of forest adjacent to the Cheakamus River that contains a small community of residents. The climbing is excellent and varied, and the rock has a wonderfully smooth grain that is more similar to the Green River Bastion than the Squamish Chief. Some of the problems in Paradise Valley may be the best of their grade in the Squamish area.

Approach notes

It is imperative that the climbers treat the Paradise boulders with respect. The Rock Lady is on private, hatchery-owned land and most of the zones are located adjacent to sensitive spawning channels - abuse of the area could result in a future closure. If you visit please obey the following guidelines: Do NOT bring dogs into this area; Do NOT block the hatchery gate; Do NOT park or access the boulders through the campground; Stay off the railways tracks and NO swimming.
