Large Limestone crag with bolt belays and some bolt/peg runners. Mostly slab/crack climbs from IV to 6b,(5-6 pitches)the most evident buttress is where the classic route "Solitudine" ("Loneliness") reaches the top. The crag is in the Valsassina area near the villages of Introbio and Pasturo, about 20km from Lecco. Usually climbable in winter due to temperature inversion. Nearly all the routes on the crag (apart from the later more difficult ones) were put up by the "Climbing Priest" Don Agostino Butturini and his school pupils (10 to 14 years old) in the 70s and 80s. Now everything is bolted and looked after by the local Alpine Guides (with EU money).
Easy parking in the lane across the river from the crag by the Guides Hut at the foot of the Placca Condor crag, 5 minutes walk.
