Climbs 9 – Rocktype Granite – Altitude 98m a.s.l – Faces S
Crag features
This small buttress lies slightly to the west of Carmear Rock, but is quite distinct from its larger neighbour, and is predominantly a bouldering venue.
The rock is largely good quality, heavily crystalline and very coarse, more so even than somewhere like Bonehill Rocks.

Access notes
Approach as for Carmear Rock from Ponts Mill. Once beneath Carmear Rock, continue for a short distance west along the path until you cross a small (often dry) stream bed. Bushwhack up the LHS (looking up) of the stream bed, until you reach a leat and sluice gate above. Cross the bridge over the leat and head right and rising slightly for about 30 metres, to pass through some shrubs to reach the small bay in front of the rocks.
