Slape Crags

Climbs 4 – Rocktype Gabbro – Altitude 300m a.s.l – Faces E

Crag features
On the slope of Carrock fell, this Gabbro slab may only hold a few climbs but they are of an excellent quality and definitely worth a visit. The approach is up through the boulder field and in summer and autumn this is quite overgrown with bracken.

Access notes
Park on the road as for Carrock Fell boulders Southern Group. The Crag is easily identifiable peeking out from the trees directly above the large undercut boulder.
