Westerdale View Quarry North Yorkshire, ENGLAND
Climbs 11 – Rocktype Sandstone (hard) – Altitude 206m a.s.l – Faces W
A bouldering quarry of coarse sandstone reaching a height of about 6 metres, boasting an exceptional setting. As well as many straightforward short solos from V diff to VS there are a few very good boulder problems from font6b to font7b+/c. Well worth a trip for these three alone, although other harder eliminates will be possible.

5 minutes from the top of Castleton at the start of 'westerdale side'. Access was once a bit tricky, but with open access it's fine- high moorland.

Does exactly what is says on the tin. 1 minute walk in and a decent session. Bit of a sun trap though if you're wanting to climb hard...|
