Bottoms Quarry, Tintwistle Derbyshire, ENGLAND
Climbs 40 – Rocktype Grit (quarried) – Altitude 176m a.s.l – Faces S
This quarry has shockingly good climbing. Some of the route can be done as boulder problems if you have a head for heights. There are not many road side crags which you only have to walk 30m. Mentioned in the excellent "Over the moors" guide book, but available free on the BMC Website.
First view is of a small buttress which hides the rest of the quarry.

The access road is closed at the moment, spoke to a warden and was quite firmly told that no climbing is allowed on the crag.|
