Thimbleby Crag North Yorkshire, ENGLAND
Climbs 20 – Rocktype Sandstone (soft) – Altitude 270m a.s.l – Faces N
Hidden up in the woods behind Over Silton village. Takes a few days to dry out after wet weather. Advisable to abseil chosen routes to clean before climbing. All have been done above mats but would make nice leads although cams would be useful. Mostly good landings.

A good bit of rock at a fair old size. The line of the crag is white star line, which is great. Unfortunately its green as hell - even after dry spells. I'm not sure I'd go back until someone chops all the trees down around it.|
