Lantana Val Seriana, ITALY
Climbs 74 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 1141m a.s.l – Faces S
Crag features
Three sectors. A (20 easier slabby routes)is down and to the R of the point where the approach path arrives. B (38 routes from 4a to 7b with some 2 pitch routes)extends up and L from the approach path. C (16 routes from 6b to 7b with more 2 and 3 pitch routes) is higher up to the L again.
Pleasantly shady in summer.
There have been some issues with rockfall in the past - warning signs etc were erected. Talking to locals it seems that with the spring thaw some rocks have been released from the hillside above the crag; I've never experienced any rockfall there. The area below the big groove of Padania would seem to be most at risk.

Access notes
From centre of Castione follow the main road for less than a kilometer to a R fork signed for the Monte Pora ski area. Just before leaving the houses there is a large grassy parking area on the L. Walk up the road for 2/300 m and take a lane up to the L (signposted) which becomes a track through the woods. After 400 m ziz-zag up L to the crag.
