Climbs 107
Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 405m a.s.l
Faces S
Pleasant location and a nice set of routes on 5 main sectors with a much smaller upper tier of crags. Nice alternative to Fixin
More climbing on the other side of the combe as well.
NB - the combe has been designated a protected area. From 2010 all climbing on the S side of the combe (Rive Droit) has been banned. That means that all routes in the Jingo Wobbly 2003 guide are out of bounds. Rive Gauche (the N side of the combe) WAS banned after a lot of rockfall but has now been partially re-opened with 31 routes cleaned and equipped. Unfortunately I dont know (28/11/2016) which routes :-(
Park just W of Brochon village (large parking area near picnic site) and either walk up the valley bottom or take a track N.wards which turns L along the tops of the crags. (Track drivable with great care!)
All climbing on S side of combe banned. Limited number of routes 'opened' on the N side.
