A collection of various sized boulders scattered around an old disused alum quarry beneath a very large but unstable cliff.
The venue is split into 3 different areas which are, Western, Galleon and Eastern.
'The Pinnacle' lies between The Galleon and Western Areas about 50 metres from the main path, although the problems are not described in the guide there is a photo of it on page 358.
Public access with several footpaths, park considerately not blocking any gates. Please be wary of falling rock from the cliffs, several problems have already been lost from boulders blocking other boulders.
Many of the boulders in the galleon area are covered in green slime, area could do with some TLC after a dry spell mattdennies - 30/Oct/20 |

An amazing venue. Amazing problems and a great atmosphere to it. The grades are a bit stiff and the rocks sound. Definatley worth the trip and it catch's the evening light. coreybennett - 08/Mar/15 |
