Crag features

The other sport crag in the Glen Lednock area is less refined than Dunira but considerably more accessible. From the approach the singular main buttress is scarcely distinct from the vast swathe of utter choss forming the surrounding hillside, but up close it is a lot steeper and more worthwhile. Jaggy rock and ledgy terrain means it's better for a mileage day for experienced climbers, rather than wall-rats wishing to do falling practise.

Approach notes

Park carefully in a layby just before the stile on the left of the road. Follow the path uphill leading back left, follow this and then at the land rover track turn right and follow until directly under the crag. 5 mins.

No Access Issues

Park carefully in a layby just before the signed path leading back left, follow this and then the fellside to the crag. 5 mins.

27 April 2022 - Ravens nesting in the right hand side of the niche below the roof

Please Note :- There is a large birds nest on the main ramp affecting several routes.

There seem to be a family of ravens nesting on the central shelf of the crag as of May 8 2022. My partner and I decided to back off as a result as they're pretty close to most of the lines and did not want to disturb them.
