Crag features

The ancient village of Tazka is another popular tourist spot, renowned for its traditional Berber house and interesting prehistoric paintings. It lies in a small dead-end valley just outside of Tafraout, and the surrounding granite is home to some of the very best hard routes in the area.

Approach notes

For guests of the Hotel les Amandiers these crags represent the closest climbing to the hotel, and most of them are easily walkable in less than 30 minutes – leave the hotel and turn left on the main road at the bottom of the hotel drive. This is the Tazka road, and is followed past the high school and on towards Tazka.
