Crow Stones Derbyshire, ENGLAND
Climbs 50 – Rocktype Gritstone – Altitude 500m a.s.l – Faces SW
Very remote but good moorland bouldering. Gets plenty of sun and has good quality rough clean gritstone. 3 to 8M in height and quick to dry. Not the place to go alone.
Topo available on the BMC website.
Any which way it's a trek. Either approach from Fairholmes, Kings Tree if the bus is running or from Langsett or the Flouch. Or you could get there from Strines area by continuing along the edge. Either way it's best regarded as a combination of a long walk and a pleasant spot to spend a few sunny hours. On CROW land, consult a map for the best access for your requirements.
