The local guidebook covers La Pale, with over 80routes from grade 3 to 8a.
There is a long central wall split by a ledge. Some routes climb below this. Much of the development has been aimed at easy routes.
Approach notes
Approached from same parking as Rebouillon, i.e. park where road is closed. Walk uphill past Rebouillon Sector Les Fées and onwards following the orange spots. La Pale is on the skyline, approx 250m above the parking and takes about 30 minutes...but worth the walk for its views and seclusion.
It is also possible to walk in from near Chateaudouble in about an hour and descend to the crag - descent route not checked!
No Access Issues
NO vehicle access to the top of the crag!
