Crag features
A little known, and beautiful area on the edge of the Cevennes. Very popular for canyoning, less so for climbing. Which is surprising,the routes are excellent, climbing large detached pinnacles. There are several cliffs in the area, the main ones being below the 10th century village of La Guarde Guérin near to Lac Villefort. Here the routes are 100m long. Nice swimming in the nearby lakes.
Approach notes
Park at the large car park just behind La Garde Guerin. (Signposted ' Belvedere'). A path leaves the N corner of the parking. The blue path goes all the way down to Jardin du Jouqueirou. The red path forks off L after the Richer du Moulin for the other sectors.
No Access Issues
Park at the large car park just behind La Garde Gu?rin. There is a good view point 5 minutes from the parking. Most of the climbs are reached within 15 minutes
