A big compact but easy angled slab hiding in the back of the quarry. It’s about 45 degrees and almost feels like you could scramble it. There’s no where to place gear so it would be a solo climb. The rest of the quarry is very loose rock. Good for beginners but not worth the time otherwise.
Named: Outland's Head Quarry in the 1990 Kinder guide.
Either park in the quarry entrance just past quarryside cottage, or continue round the back of the quarry, park just before the house at the end of the road and hop through the prickly bushes.
