Approach notes

By car - Drive past Chimbulak as far as your car is capable of. Most cars can get as far as hotel "Vorota Tuyuk-Su"

Then walk along the road to the "Alp-camp" (collection of shacks and static caravans on the right-hand side below the road), the crag will be visible on the left. Slog up the hill, first through the wooded area, then up a loose couloir followed by the grass slope bearing right to get to the bottom of the West Face or bearing left for the normal route to the summit.
