Crag features

Small crag in the woods, around eight to ten meters high on the main face. five lines to date, mostly E4-E5 on good granite with large crystals. Mostly good climbing and a couple of very good lines. Faces south and is a generally warm and sheltered little crag.

Approach notes

Approach the Cleave as for Nutcrackers etc as far as the hunting gate into the woods, turn immediately left and follow the path up and over the ridge. A shortish way down the other side a sign points right to Foxworthy Bridge, follow this (for about half an hour) passing a sign that says "path" until you come to a sign that says "bridleway". The sign points down leftwards but you continue straight on, on a faint path for about 50yds, past a couple of holly trees, until large boulders can be seen on the right. Clamber steeply up through the boulders, directly up the hill and you should stumble across the crag.
