Climbs 50
Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 219m a.s.l
Faces all
A nice bouldering venue near the French-Spanish border, close to the city, yet well isolated in the country side.
The rock is a sandstone of the hardest quality, with a rough grain and lots of big holes.
There's lots of different angles and faces, providing good climbing for almost everyone: there's plenty of problems in the Font 4 to 6 range, but also some already established classics in the Font 7 range.

Park between Km 11 and 12. Cross the field boundary at the wooden stile and walk down hill for about 5 mn. Cerillas sector starts with the first trees and roofs/caves. The cave of 'Mar de romos' and the roof/overhang of 'Ireki ateak' are on the left of the path, 'Pijorik ez' and 'Tsunami' walls are a little further on the right hand side.
Had some great fun there: http://pierreboulderingblog.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/jaizkibel-only-fools-and-horses.html Maragmhòraix - 07/Jun/16 |
