The Vision, 24, wye creek, Q town NZ. ( my hardest sport route © KiwiPrincess
South Island rock says there is camping allowed here, There is not, it is private farm land!
Down by the lake where the river goes is the closest camp spot and will soon have toilets installed
There is now a toilet at the top carpark. Please use it as the climbing is anywhere from 30seconds to 20 mins walk and it is not OK to go on the ground in NZ especially in the river catchment area.
Largely sport, some trad.
North and south, and west facing cliffs.
Bring a 60m rope
The Wye Ice is actually acessed via Remarkables at the top of the North branch of the Valley.
Walk times 25mins( 5 mins if you have a 4wd that can make the top car park)- 2hrs.
Worth the view though.
No Camping at Wye creek Carpark- even though one guide says it's allowed.

|As far as Wye Creek in winter goes do not try to walk in without skis or snowshoes, the guide says not to with good reason!|
