Welcome to some Ceredigion Coast esoteria! Some of the sea washed bouldering is good but the quality of the rock generally diminishes alarmingly as height is gained and so some care is required with a number of the routes. Approach is easily made from the Flat Rock Café by following the footpath through the Cliff Hotel and Spa carpark. Dry weather, low tides and calm seas are recommended. The rock is 'mudstone' which does not appear in the UKC drop-down list for 'Rocktype' - I wonder why.
