Also known as Tiske Steny (The Tisa Rocks). A typical Czech sandstone area. At the western end of the rocks are numerous isolated towers. The main, south-facing wall, overlooking Tisa village, is much more continuous.
The use of metal gear was frowned on - threads, spikes and knotted slings were the way to go - and chalk was a no-no. As was climbing after rain.
From Decin, the nearest city, take the road west to Libouchec. From here head north to Tisa. As you enter the village there is parking opposite the church and the access path to the rocks goes up past the church.
There is a souvenir / ticket booth near the entrance to the towers. Be prepared to pay a small fee!
