Situated within the nature reserve around Lake Loppio, this crag was one of the first to exist in the Arco area. There are 4 sectors with routes varying from 4c to 8a on grey limestone. A few pitches are polished and the grades are quite stiff.
Passo San Giovanni is also the most interesting bouldering area around Arco. Problems here are divided into circuits similar to Fontainebleau and coloured arrows mark the location of each climb. Routes described in Alpen en bloc 1.
From Arco follow SS 240 towards Mori. Park in the layby/car park opposite Hotel Passo S. Giovanni. From the carpark cross the main road and follow a small road on the left heading downhill. A few hundred metres down the road there is a small hiking trail on the left, follow this for 5 minutes to reach the boulders.
