The Pillar of Elidir Gwynedd, WALES
Climbs 4 – Rocktype UNKNOWN – Altitude 2250m a.s.l – Faces NE
Crag features
The pillar is an impressive piece of rock with a serious feel to it, which is well worth a visit for those wanting an adventure away from the crowds. It is worth being preared to abseil off the pillar or squirm down the Rift(a brilliant pitch of climbing) then ab down west gully(it is possible to climb down this but I can personally recommend in this case learning your lesson the easy way!). The classic of the crag is The Cracks HS.
