Climbs 11 – Rocktype Hornstone – Altitude 150m a.s.l – Faces S

Crag features
Much used by outdoor groups for the Mod - Diff south-facing routes. Some promising bouldering.

Not in SDD guide!

As you approach from the car park you will find a picnic type area and some generally good promising. The listed routes are found to the right of the boulder area down a small boldery gully. Care should be taken as the ground is considerably broken and twisted ankles could be a possibility.

Access notes
The access footpath commences with a small car park, capable of holding a maximum of 4 vehicles. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Very easy routes. Good for beginners or practice setting up belays. Not sure they're 25m routes though?

Interesting boulder round the back. As far as I know no-ones ever done it yet. Good little project, even if a bit out of the way.
