Baume Noire

Climbs 45 – Rocktype Limestone – Altitude 782m a.s.l – Faces SW

Approach notes
Unsuitable for groups as sensetive area. Do not park in the layby below the crag as any loose stones will hit your car. Next crag is bird banned as seems to be home to a pair of eagles so you can watch them when you are belaying.

This crag is beautifully positioned with extensive views. The crag gets the sun by mid to late morning. The rock is good but has extensive blank areas without good holds, making even the easiest graded routes more challenging than you would expect (i.e. expect to be sandbagged).
