Beylot Ferran

Climbs 16 – Rocktype Gneiss – Altitude 223m a.s.l – Faces SW

Crag features
Situated in Les Gorges d'Heric. Popular as a place for beginners (by French standards). There is everything from 4+ to 7a.

Access notes
Popular, no access problems. Take signpost for Mons off the D908 heading SW out of Bedarieux. (good sport climbing on the red rock in Bedarieux incidentally, there is a guidebook).

Take signs for the Gorges d'heric from Mons and park in the big warden controlled (pay) carpark. The walk up to the Gorges is obvious on the drive in (the left fork where the car park road forks right). The first good buttress you come to when walking up from the car park. You will need to cross the bridge opposite the crag which is the obvious close reddish crag on the other side. The skinny concrete bridge is a bit interesting.
