Crag features

Up to 40m high and with superb steep rock - many excellent hard routes. Internal Combustion(E6), Top Gear(E4), Redex(E2), Liquid Engineering(E5), High Performance(E5).

Approach notes

Forty five minute approach from parking place in Hartsop Village. Bird restriction 1 March to 31 May.

Access notes
Restrictions apply from  15 February - 31 May. Reason - Nesting Birds

The restriction applies to the whole crag, including the scrambles in the Cicerone Guide and is signed on site.


The pair nested here in 2014 but were unfortunately unsuccessful in fledging young.

Just a warning about Baby Driver - don\'t do it. The top peg is missing and it\'s a nightmare trying to pull over the top. Top Gear is in good nick, as is Running On Empty.
