This is also called The Cave of Munits. This is the believed cave of a mythical Chumash shaman who was killed after murdering the son of a Chumash chief.
Approach notes
Access from terminus of VanOwen, its a residential area and trailhead is obvious.
From Rockclimbing.com "It is now illegal to enter cave due to multiple incidents with visitors destroying natural formations. There are no signage posted to restrict entry, but notice is published online and enter at your own risk."
I have accessed the cave and can say that on my last visit there was no obvious impediment to access but access at own risk.
