Variable rock, from super-rough to very smooth. Some gems, including the classic "Grey Arete" (*** HVS). Multi-pitch routes to 200 metres.
This cliff is the culmination of the Idwal Slabs, situated near the summit of Glyder Fawr. With an early start, the worst of the screes on the approach can be avoided by choosing a combination of routes on the slabs below.
