Black Carn South Cornwall, ENGLAND
Climbs 5 – Rocktype Granite – Altitude Tidal – Faces SE
A good morning or afternoon of entertainment for the sub-E1 climber. Routes up to 90ft including the enticingly name Immaculate Off-Width (HVS 5a). Don't worry, most of it isn't.
Tidal. Routes accessible 3-4 hours either site of low tide. Beware swells and rough seas.
Follow the coast path from Porthgwarra to just below a distinctive stone wall, which runs out to the seaward edge of the Carn. The zawn is directly beneath, with the climbs on the N side.
