Aonach Beag Highland, SCOTLAND
Climbs 30 – Rocktype Schist – Altitude 1236m a.s.l – Faces W
In winter the Aonach's provide great climbing and due to the altitude are fairly reliable and access is easy via the Gondola. The North Face of Aonach Beag provides several excellent ice routes in a remote setting with difficult to find protection, Raw Egg Buttress has excellent summer and winter routes Chanderelle(E3) and Salmonella(VII).
From the summit of Aonach Mor (see that crag for access) reach the col connecting Mor to Beag in about 15 minutes.
Ben Nevis (2002),
Out of print: Ben Nevis (1994)
